Mistakes That Cost Dearly
1. No Waterproofing
Floor and wall waterproofing up to 20-30 cm height is mandatory! Without it, water will seep to the neighbors below.
2. Incorrect Floor Slope
The floor must slope toward the drain. Otherwise, water will pool.
3. Skimping on Pipes
Cheap pipes and fittings lead directly to leaks within 1-2 years.
4. Insufficient Ventilation
Without proper ventilation — mold and mildew are guaranteed. Install an exhaust fan.
5. Wrong Floor Tile Choice
Bathroom floor tiles must be matte and non-slip (coefficient R10-R12).
6. Forgotten Access to Utilities
Always leave inspection panels for access to meters, valves, and filters.
7. Installing Fixtures Before Finishing
First — pipes and utilities, then tiles, and only then — fixture installation.
