Single-Lever Faucet
Cause of Leak — Worn Cartridge
- Shut off the water
- Remove the decorative cap from the lever
- Unscrew the bolt under the cap
- Remove the lever and decorative nut
- Unscrew the retaining nut
- Remove the old cartridge
- Install the new cartridge (pay attention to diameter — 35mm or 40mm)
- Reassemble in reverse order
Two-Handle Faucet
Cause — Worn Gasket
- Shut off the water
- Remove the decorative cap
- Unscrew the bolt and remove the handle
- Unscrew the valve stem
- Replace the rubber gasket
- Reassemble
